For the first time in four years the queen of blonde, Bridgit Mendler, has released new music. Her new EP, Nemesis, was released on November 18, 2016. Now I have been a big time fan of Bridgit's since her first album, Hello My Name Is, so naturally I had high expectations for this new EP; and those expectations were far surpassed.
Nemesis is distinctly different from Hello My Name Is in the best of ways, and truly shows how Bridgit has grown as an artist in the past four years. The distinct calm, poppy vibes and raw vocals makes this EP the perfect driving music; and as I listen I can only picture myself driving down the coast with the windows down as the sun shines on me. Each song has an ocean vibe to it and the first single from the EP, Atlantis, definitely plays into that. Overall, Nemesis will have you emotionally moved, leaving you calm as it soothes you with a temporary escape from reality.
